All our hard work in recruiting parents means that there are a large number of occasional helpers volunteering for The Scout Association. But in fact, for many of these adults, becoming a sectional assistant could be a better option. A full scouting appointment brings with it a number of benefits, both for the individual and for the group as a whole.

Help us deliver the Cambridgeshire Scouting Adventure!

More than 6,000 young people aged 6-25 across Cambridgeshire enjoy the Scouting adventure every week through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and the Scout Network.

Scouting opportunities are possible thanks to dedicated individuals who work together to provide varied and challenging activities for young people. Currently over 1,000 adult volunteers in Cambridgeshire play a major part in delivering this amazing adventure week in, week out.

Now is the time to do so, along with an average of 11,000 other passengers per day - 7 days a week, because Cambridgeshire Scouts have signed up with City View Digital Media Limited in an exciting cross County project where they will show an adult recruitment advert on their public screens across all 20 buses that operate the 5 Park and Ride routes for 4 weeks from the 20th February 2013
