County AGM 2017

Sunday 25th June 2017, 2.30pm

The Countryside Centre, Hinchingbrooke Country Park

The Annual General Meeting of Cambridgeshire County Scout Council will take place at the Countryside Centre, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, at 2.30pm on Sunday 25th June 2017.

All members of the County Scout Council, scouting volunteers and interested parties are welcome to attend.

The AGM will be followed by refreshments.


Nominations

Nominations are requested for the following elected roles:

  • Elected Members of the County Executive Committee - this year there are six vacancies. Any member or associate member of Cambridgeshire Scouts may stand for election to the County Executive Committee.
  • County Treasurer
  • Nominated Member of the Council of the Scout Association*** - one person to serve for up to 3 years.
  • Nominated Youth Member of the Council of the Scout Association*** - one person, aged 18-24, to serve for up to 3 years or until they are 25. [POR Chapter 6: On nomination the representative must have passed their 18th birthday but not reached their 24th birthday at the date of the annual census].

***Election as a Nominated Member/Youth Member of the Council of the Scout Association entitles the holder to attend the AGM of the Scout Association as a voting member. This year the AGM will be held at Gilwell on Saturday 2nd September during Reunion - follow this link for further details.

To nominate a person for election to any of these roles, please send their name to Jo McGowan, County Secretary, by 11th June 2017 - self-nominations are welcome.
