Scout Active Support

Scout Active Support allows people to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis. People can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader.


It provides a resource for Managers of local Scouting including Group Scout Leaders, District Commissioners and County/Area Commissioners, who can use it in whichever way is required.

Introduction to Scout Active Support

Did you know there is a Scout Active Support Unit near you with members who have a wide range of scouting skills and experience. Members who are CRB cleared and happy to step in and run a meeting for you using either your programme or one of their own.

Maybe you have an event and need help running bases, checkpoints on incident hikes, car park attendants or someone to make tea and coffee (yes they can all boil a kettle but that is probably the least of their skills).
